1994 - 1995 Beginning


























Our business commenced in April 1994. In the same year three retail outlets were set up under the name of  [Mode Maison], retailing fashion apparel and fashion accessories. [Mode Maison] was named as a shop name and a brand, which specialized in fashion accessories. 








[WOODY] natural personal care collection was the second brand developed in the same year.


1996 – 1998 Expansion of Retail Activities

Strategies on retail operations, advertising and promotions were implemented in order to improve, promote the retail outlets and branding.

In 1996 the Company was appointed the Sole Distributor of a well-known British Aromatherapy brand in Malaysia.

A sales team was employed to develop distribution and wholesale activities.

Tied up with local mail order companies to promote [WOODY] natural personal care range.

In August 1998, all free standing retail outlets [Mode Maison] ceased operations due to shortage of retail staffing.

Supply of aromatherapy and natural products to 5-star Hotel Spas, Fitness and Health Centers and beauty saloons.


1999 – 2003 Continued Expansion & New Business Areas

International trade division was set up in 1999 to act as trading house and sourcing agent.

Joint-promotion with banks on redemption program.

Supplies of premium items and giftware.













In year 1999 in-house brand [Rosary] Aromatherapy range was established.













In year 2001 in-house brand [HerTee] which sells Herbal Teas & Tea accessories was established.






















[Rosary]Aromatherapy, [WOODY] personal care and [HerTee] Natural Herbs & Fruits Tea counters were set up in A-Grade department stores and well-known pharmacies such as Jaya Jusco, Isetan, Metrojaya, Parkson Grand, Tangs, Living Quarters, Apex Pharmacy, etc.

Exporting and marketing own developed brands ([Rosary] and [HerTee] to overseas markets.



2004 – 2009 Business Transformation

The company tied up with a Taiwanese company in marketing of e-Commerce (eShop) Web Application, at the same time created an Internet (online) Shop to sell consumer products (B2C).

In July 2004 the Company decided to cease its retail & distribution activities in Malaysia and Singapore, and focused mainly on import & export activities, as follows:

* Direct import to Malaysia / Singapore (Products made in China, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, Europe, etc)

* Export & distribution of high end consumer products to East China markets

* International trade exhibitions

* Sourcing agents & manufactures’ representative

In the same year a new joint-venture business with a reputable manufacturer in Taiwan was set up to market and export electronic & digital OEM, sourcing and manufacturing of products such as TFT LCD monitor, LCD TV car series, MP3 & MP4, standard computer system, etc.

Agents / Distributors in KL were appointed to continuously supply and support the existing wholesale customers for bulk order or import direct.



2010 Wholesale & Online B2B

The business activities mainly focused on sourcing of consumer products and supply of Rosary Aromatherapy Products.

In Apr 2010, company set up online B2B [Global Supply of Chinese Clothing and Fashion Apparels)



2011 Online Stores

In June 2011, [Rosary Living Store], an internet shop was open to sell aromatherapy products and lifestyle items.

Rosary Living Store is the first online retailer in Malaysia to distribute aromatherapy products.

It is named “Rosary” after our in-house aromatherapy brand name.

We started selling aromatherapy products in 1996, and we were the pioneer in bringing these products into Malaysia, and the first to set up counters at department stores since 1997.

Our Mission is to provide online customers with an exciting shopping experience, superior service and a fine selection of affordable, high quality lifestyle products.

The establishment of B2B [Global Chinese Dress & Fashion Clothing Supply] in 2010 was mainly involved in clothing manufacturing, exporting, sourcing, ODM and OEM services. Our business offers a combination of design, wholesale, production and professional marketing services. Our currently export markets are United States, Europe, Australia, South East Asia regions.

Having operated for a year plus, via internet and social media marketing, trade feedback has been very encouraging. Our products are favoured by our clients and consumers both at home and aboard with the exquisite design, high quality fabric and competitive price!
Apart from trade inquires from all over the world, there are many end consumers mostly from South East Asia who have contacted us and expressed their interests in buying Chinese Clothing in particularly Qipao or Cheongsam for their own.










An in-house brand [MISSUYA] was then founded in 2011. It began with supply of fashion, fashion accessories, and modern and classic Chinese Clothing.

In September 2011, we set up our own online store www.missuya.com to house this brand and other lifestyle products.

Since 2015 we began selling through marketplaces like Lelong, Rakuten, Logon, 11street, Qoo10, Lazada, Shopee.​
